GHA

Glasgow Hutcheson's and Aloysians Rugby Club (GHA) plays at Braidholm in Giffnock. The club will be playing in Premier 3 in season 2011/12.

The club aims to be part of the community and apart from the Senior teams there is a strong Junior section with players as young as Primary 1 being involved on a weekly basis. It has provision for, and hosts, numerous social and fundraising events (not just rugby related) from hiring out the function room and facilities to the annual fireworks display on 5th November.

Information can be accessed via the website  www.gharugby.co.uk and an e-newsletter is available by subscribing on admin@gharugby.com. Comments can also be added to the club's blog.

Cartha QP

The south side is home to Cartha Queens Park RFC, who narrowly missed promotion to the Premier 2 league. Like GHA, they encourage a range of age groups and families to become involved with the club. Cartha currently also fields a women's team.

Further information on Cartha is available on the website: www.carthaqp.org

Whitecraigs

The other ER club is Whitecraigs who clinched the 2010/11 Premier 3 league championship in style and will take their place in Premier 2 next season.

As well as having one of the largest mini/midi sections in the country, Whitecraigs' facilities include an associated health and fitness club plus other sports facilities.
